If you're planning an event in Apex and searching for a mobile bar, you're in the right place. Lil' Brew Bird is a vintage tap trailer and bartending service based just up the road in Hillsborough, and we regularly bring the party to Apex and the surrounding communities.

The Research Triangle is one of the most dynamic corporate corridors in the country. Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill together host a remarkable concentration of technology companies, life sciences firms, universities, and startups, with Research Triangle Park sitting at the center as one of the largest research parks in the world. The corporate event culture here reflects that energy — these are companies that take their team celebrations, client events, and milestone moments seriously.

If you have been searching for a bar on wheels for your next event, you have found the right place. Lil' Brew Bird is a mobile bar and vintage tap trailer service based in the Triangle, bringing craft beer, cocktails, prosecco, and soda on tap to weddings, graduation parties, corporate events, and backyard celebrations across Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh, Cary, and surrounding areas.

Cary has become one of the most sought-after communities in the Triangle for a reason. With beautifully maintained neighborhoods, proximity to Research Triangle Park, and a growing roster of event venues, it is a natural fit for the kind of polished, thoughtfully planned celebrations that Lil' Brew Bird was built for.

Whether you are planning a backyard wedding reception, a corporate milestone event, a graduation party, or a private celebration, we bring a vintage tap trailer and professional bartending service directly to your venue. You focus on the gathering. We handle the bar.

Raleigh has quietly become one of the best wedding cities in the South. The City of Oaks has everything a couple could want: beautiful venues across every aesthetic, easy access from RDU for out-of-town guests, and a hospitality culture that takes celebrations seriously.

We serve more weddings in the Raleigh area than anywhere else in our footprint. After years of setting up at venues from Glenwood South to North Hills to the farms and estates surrounding the city, we have learned a lot about what makes a Raleigh wedding bar experience truly exceptional.

We have served events in a lot of places across Central North Carolina. Backyard weddings in Pittsboro. Corporate happy hours in downtown Raleigh. Farm celebrations out in Orange County. Every city has its own personality, and that personality shows up at the bar.

But Durham is different. Durham is a craft beer city in a way that goes deeper than just having good breweries. It is a city where people actually care about what is in their glass. Where a guest at your wedding will notice if you have a Fullsteam tap and appreciate it. Where "what's on tap?" is a real question, not small talk.

Chapel Hill is one of our favorite places to work. There's something about the energy of a college town that never quite leaves — even at a private wedding or a backyard retirement party, Chapel Hill crowds tend to be curious, warm, and genuinely fun to serve. Add in some of the most beautiful event properties in the Triangle, and it's easy to see why we get so many calls from hosts planning celebrations in and around Chapel Hill.

If you're planning an event in Chapel Hill — a wedding, a milestone birthday, a corporate gathering, a backyard party — here's what you need to know about hiring a mobile bar in this area.

North Carolina is one of the best states in the country for outdoor events. The climate is forgiving enough for spring and fall gatherings that feel like a dream, and the landscape — rolling Piedmont hills, working farms, vineyard properties, private estates with century-old oaks — gives event hosts a backdrop that no ballroom can replicate.

But outdoor events come with their own set of considerations, especially when it comes to the bar. After serving hundreds of outdoor celebrations across the Triangle and Central NC, here's everything I wish every host knew before they booked.

So you've seen a vintage tap trailer at someone's wedding or party and thought — yes, that's exactly what my event needs. Good instincts. A tap trailer is one of those rare event elements that's both genuinely useful and genuinely beautiful. Guests love it. Hosts love it. Photographers love it.

But before you book one, there are a few things worth understanding — especially here in North Carolina, where the rules around alcohol service have some quirks that can catch first-timers off guard. This guide covers the five most important things to know before you rent a tap trailer for your event.

When people ask me "what's the best mobile bar in central North Carolina," I'm a little biased. But I've also been doing this long enough — pouring drinks at backyard weddings in Pittsboro, corporate events in Raleigh, retirement parties in Chapel Hill — to know exactly what separates a great mobile bar experience from a forgettable one.
